Default Quilt for Hazel, on turning 100

This is my first quilt finish of 2012 -- a group project by our women's bible study made for the oldest member of our church -- Hazel turning 100 this month. It's lap sized, and a nice lightweight texture.

I did the fabric selection, drafted the pattern, and coordinated the group efforts in piecing. A friend did the lovely celtic knot applique work. I did the FMQ.

That is beautiful. I'm sure she will be very touched and proud to own it. God bless her for a few more years. A woman in our church just turned 107.
