A quilt, a hello and a FMQ tip
Hello. It's been a while since I've posted. I had to take some time off due to an unexpected arrival. It's nice to see you all still here spreading the love. I'm slowly getting my mo-jo back.
I got word that my brothers grand daughter, Wacie, was in the hospital with the flu. So my two nieces hopped to it and whipped this up for her last night. Jen (21) cut and pieced everything. Lissy (17) DREW the cookie monster and elmo blocks with fabric markers (amazing). I just quilted and binded it. I'm so proud of them.
The model is my little lady bug Chelsea Maria.
Also, and while I'm not the best FMQ'er out there, I recently had a light bulb moment. I realized that when you ooopsy it can be an opportunity to jump off and switch motifs. I really have troubles with consistency. Blending the motifs helps me to make the mistakes work.
