Then I found the pattern (I don't know where it is now) and found out that it was all wrong. No wonder it turned out to be so difficult. Somehow it is supposed to be sewn as you go. It looks really bad and I am sure the stitching won't stay long. BUT my husband loves it and he wanted me to show it. I was going to throw it away but my hubby wouldn't let me. it's embarrassing to have around. I'm afraid someone will see it!

This is really a pretty quilt. You must have spent many hours and miles of thread to quilt this beauty. You made it for your DH, his opinion is the one that counts. Be proud of all your hard work, he is surely proud that you cared enough to make a truely outstanding quilt just for him.
Now, hold your head up high and take pride in your success!!!

If it was made with love and DH loves it it a WINNER. These are the most important points for a quilt in my biased opinion. Your husband knows this also.
As a quilter I have had to learn to not expect perfection.
Funnily enough everyone I've given a quilt has loved it.
Happy Quilting

he loves it because it came from his loving wife and you know even if it was the ugliest thing on earth which it isnt he will cherish it forever because u made it for HIM! And by the way my husband would love it too so anytime y'all get tired of it u can send it our way we would give it a nice home!

It's pretty and very original...let your husband use it and love it. Now...what's your next project....come on...you know it's going to be a breeze, compared to this one. I mean, look how much more experienced you are!
