Quilt I made for my Mum for Christmas

Thanks for the kind words everyone!!
Yes my Mum WAS looking at Quilts, Quilts, Quilts, my husband has been having quilting lessons for a few months and that is the book they use!
It was fast using the strip method, I had to squeeze it in between all my paid sewing (which was taking upto 16 hours a day!!!) I quilted it on Sunday - started at 11am and had it finished for 5pm.
It DOES look god against the lanscape doesn't it!!!
p.s. The quilt is sage green and pink, looks grey in this picture!

The pink is not really that luminous but the morning sun was behind the quilt as it hung on the clothes line!! Hope you like the wintery Irish view behind!
