    This is beautiful! I like the extra (2nd) piece of darker fabric on some of the flowers-adds dimension! Lovely border too!

    I love the border on that. The whole quilt is great but the border is really special. Nice job.

    Thank you for all the compliments and I love all the suggestions. I have a couple of extra blocks that I didn't use so I think I'll sandwich them and do some practice work and see what looks best. The shadow part on the pedel is a smaller pedel in a lighter color. The fabric I used was fossil fern.

    Love the colors, love the border...beautiful! I would outline the flowers and do a meandering stitch on the rest. Please post a pic when finished!

    Sorry, I have no suggestions for quilting but it is especially pretty! And I don't usually take a shine to flowers.

    I love this pattern and haven't had time to make it yet. You did a great job, love the border. Look through the archives for ones already completed to get some good ideas.
