I spent about $33.00 on supplies to make this quilt ladder, including my new drill bit. It was a lot cheaper than anything I could buy already made. I officially love it. I just have to stain it. I was lucky enough to grab a ladder a few years ago at a reasonable price but have not been able to find another one that would not cost an arm and a leg so to speak.
