The blocks came out at 6" finished. I made them using my "easy, breezy" method. :D Cut 10" squares of 20 light fabrics and 20 dark fabrics (you could also do this with a layer cake, which is how I figured out this method). Layer a dark and light 10" square of fabric together, with right sides together. Then sew all around the 4 edges, 1/4" away from the edge. After that, cut the square diagonally each way. You will now have 4 half-square triangle blocks. After sewing and cutting all 40 of those 10" squares, you end up with 80 blocks that finish out at 6". I laid mine out in a 8 x 10 block pattern. You can also turn the blocks to make diamonds or some other pattern, such as the alternating one I did. Fun, quick, and easy!

Eddie, Thanks for telling me how to do this, it doesn't sound diffucult to do. I just finished my Beatles Quilt and today started a D9P so this will be my next project. Hopefully it will look half as good as yours. Hope Meagan is feeling much better.
