About this time last year, I joined the I-Spy square swap. It's only taken me a year - but I've finished one of the quilts! Whoohoo!! I made this for my granddaughter Violet. And for the binding I applied it to the back of the quilt, flipped it to the front and sewed it down with my machine using a decorative stitch. Actually all four sides has a different one. This will be Violet's Christmas present. She's three now - a good age for this style quilt.

Thanks everyone for doing the swap!!

Ever since she was born, she's been getting violet clothing etc. By the time she's a teen she'll be so tired of the color violet!! LOL!!!

Love what you did with the binding--can't wait to try it myself.

What a wonderful quilt for your little precious one, Violet! The colors match her lovely name!
