    Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Teresa, I have no idea how the borders turned out so straight, I found it really difficult to trim such a long, pieced item accurately and I felt it was very crooked. But after I sewed it on, it all seemed to come right on its own! What a fluke!

    Terri, the 'kids' are already well and truly enjoying this project! Everytime I lay it out on the floor they are all up and under it and twisting it and burrowing! Little monsters!

    Now I just need to muster up the courage to sandwich and quilt it! Yikes, dare I even try free motion?!?! Now I understand how WIP's come about!
