What a lovely thing to do and the quilt is smashing! We DO have an accent in Alabama!

It is indeed a beauty of a quilt, and I get a chuckle about who thinking who has an accent! It's all just a matter of our "starting point" isn't it!!

Lovely heartwarming quilt. Good job! I particularly liked the hedges. Better have a box of tissues handy when you give them the quilt! (smiles).

Love the quilt and it does look American! We in Wisconsin are proud of you for honoring her this way.

Nancy, when we lived in Ohio, we had neighbors from WI who loved our "southern" accent. LOL Barb

It is a beautiful quilt. I loved reading the story behind it and it is so much more beautiful for the love that went into it.
