    What a great idea using the button plackets. I also have made quilts from shirts and have a jar full of the buttons but never thought of using the button strips in this way. Thanks for a great idea! Love the quilt design as well.

    Very well done, both piecer and quilter. I too love the idea of the button plackets in the border. Very clever use of a part of the shirt usually tossed away when turning into a quilt, and adds tons of visual interest.

    Was it quilted using a LA machine? Does having the buttons on the border pose a problem when LAQ'ing?
