    That is just beautiful. I would frame it, too. Make a quilt like that with her for her bed! So much fun to sew with our grandchildren.

    That is wonderful and your idea to translate it to fabric is great. As MFord said, have her help choose the fabrics. Maybe even teach her how to make the blocks.

    What a wonderful job done by her - at her age - this is a keepsake for sure, and to reproduce a quilt to go with it would be superb! So happy for you both!
