The official colors were the blues and the white and creams. I felt the reds and browns brought it all alive and really brought out some of the other colors from the center panel. My sister has a Nolting Fun Quilter and did the wonderful quilting.

What a great quilt and a great idea to have a shop hop. I'd never heard of this before but I wish someone would do that in AZ. It would be a great way to frequent different shops and know their inventories. Thank you for sharing this with us and I'm sure your dad is enjoying his beautiful warm quilt.
