    I Love chickens I drew a chicken I plan to make a pattern out of. Also a frog. A long legged frog. :lol: :lol:

    Susan: I also collect frog items - you should see the inside and outside of my home - many, many, many frogs - everyone I work with always buys me frogs also. It's great you're making your own patterns!!!

    I think I just discovered how you bring the other persons correspondence into tho reply box. Just not sure how to put it back! Well anyway Sandy It's great to know another frog enthusiast. I also have a thing for lizards, snakes and bugs. Except spiders, Oh and fish are among my favorite's :lol: :lol: :lol:

    Sandy, first off, illusion quilts are one of my favorites, picture quilts another. In my opinion, yours is absolutely fantastic, I love it. Your colors are also great.

    Wow...for a first quilt you really did a magnificent job and it looks like you've hand quilted it, too. Great job, great colors. Thanks for sharing.

    Beautiful, I love the bright colors against the black, all of the beautiful pictures of your daughter, the hand quilting is exquisite, you did a wonderful job on your piecing, the label made me get all teary eyed, AND it is your first quilt????? You are a born to be a quilt maker :D :D :D

    First off, your colors are fabulous! I love the way the black sets off the brights! Secondly, this does not look like a beginner's block at all! Very ambitious for your first attempt! Your quilting is fabulous! And lastly, including the photos was inspired and makes this a very personal quilt for your daughter. I'm sure she's crazy about it! Well done!
