    Thank you all for your kind replies. We are the ones blessed by our new son and daughter. She loves the quilt and always rolls herself into it.On the back I put a heart shaped muslin label with a special message on it for her from mama.

    LOL If you knew me and my family you would understand. It is typical of me. Sorry I can't explain better. Also this quilt has 1930s , civil war, batik, contemporary and Hawaiian fabric. I like to mix it all. Many of the quilts have a thought or story behind it and sometimes have some symbolism.
