    No, it wasn't difficult. The pattern called for cutting the sashings & green borders the length of fabric. I had not done that before. At least not for such long strips. If I had it to do over I think I would cut width of fabric. Seems to waste fabric the other way, but there are no seams. The smaller diamonds were strips of fabric sewn together & then cut to size. They were then sewn together sort of like the braid in the 10 minute table runner pattern. I did shorten the green borders for a total of 7" off the width & length of the quilt, so that it would fit on my older frame as the pattern is king size. The pattern is in the July/August 2011 issue of Fons & Porter Love of Quilting magazine .

    I am thinking this is a sure hit! Very pretty and so bright. I see a lot of pieces and hence a lot of work.
