    Thank you all so much for your compliments - Karen really was pleased.

    She makes the old style lamp shades - ie 30's and earlier. That was why I went with a more old fashioned appearance. She is re-doing one room as "a girl room" and will do crafts etc in there. She plans on having a day bed and will go there to read/etc. She can hardly wait to get the new bed in and will use the quilt in there as well as in the living room - but it will hang out in the girl room over summers.

    Congratulations to both of your, a match made in heaven I would say. What a great result., with such thought for where the quilt will live too!! :D

    Jacque you really are coming along great with your quilting!! :D

    I think the colours are lovely, and I like the movement in the quilt, and whats good is that it looks like a simple design, with lots of effect - gotta be good in my book!!!! :D :D
