    Default Quilt for my Hubby

I made this quilt for my husband for our 25th wedding anniversary. The main fabrics I bought a year and a half ago at the NQA show. He plays guitar as a hobby, so the fabrics were a good fit. When I saw this pattern I decided it would work well with these and not have to cut it up the focus fabric. The pattern is The Craftsman. It was pretty quick to piece, about 7 hours of intense work for the cutting and piecing. Had to do it while he was at work and I took a day off since I was doing it as a surprise. It would have been even faster if I could have followed the pattern directions for strip piecing, but since my fabrics were directional I had to cut them a piece at a time.

Neat quilt and congrats on your anniversary! I have a few fabrics that I don't want to cut into, I need to go and have a look at that pattern, thanks!
