A quilt for my wee one
#15
Looks great,
I know what you mean about setting it up on the machine. The sandwhiching and basting are the parts I hate the most. My friend who has a homesize longarming machine admitted that it took her longer to set it up than it did to do the quilting. Unfortuneately all the steps in making a quilt are not as fun as some of the other parts.

Your quilt is so pretty!! I just love the colors & the patterns you have used to make it with. I especially love the ME, it really sets it off. Thank you for sharing with all of us here on the quilting board.

Thank you every one for the generous words. The border is now on it. Just need to do a little pressing. I am going to have to start looking at my wall of fabric to pull the colors for the next one.
It took me a long time to get the first quilt on the table mostly because I kept having to go back and do it again and again. Watch the video in between etc. Go back and fix a little of this and a little of that. I am sure after the next few quilts I will get faster and I will be able to get them on and off in a timely fashion. Practice. I have been sewing for a long time so the piecing came pretty easy to me. So the big machine is a bit more of a challenge. it is one I like though. And frankly after having to try and get a few quilts done on my other machine, I will take having to fuss with it to get it on the big table.

I'm excited to see what you do with it on your new big machine! That is a really great job on the embroidery and I do love your choices for fabric! Are the other quilts you are going to get done the same pattern? That one is a beauty! I can't wait to see what you do next!
