    Default Quilt needs help...

I had some left over pieces from a Summer in the Park. (Example in picture 1)

So I made this quilt. It is for our local hospice. But all that white area just doesn't look right to me? (picture 2)

Should I applique hearts, flowers, diamonds or just leave it? (Picture 3 has examples that are just taped on.)

Beautiful quilt, when I could just see the first pic, I thought it looked fine. But, then I saw with the applique - and REALLY love it! So, nice of you to use your scraps this way.

Personally I like the diamonds! But the hearts look good as well. Have fun! Luann in CT

Beautiful use of leftover fabric/blocks! I like the little squares best but all appliques are pretty.

Both look wonderful to me too. If you don't care for the applique, I would think that a FMQ pattern within the white spaces would fix what you feel isn't right about the first picture.

If you leave it white show off your quilting skills. I like it with the appliques also. Very Pretty which ever way you decide would be fine.
