    years ago I made 2 twin bed size quilts for my DS and DD and I tied them. They both got a lot of use and needed repair rather quickly. I would machine quilt it for durability.

    I would quilt around sun bonnet sue. She is so great and for the young man what does he like to have red to him?If its about cars or fish or a cartoon you get your lead from him and start shopping for fabric . What fun you have ahead.

    Really cute quilt, if I quilted it I would go around the Sunbonnet Sues. I've done one and tied it too. I've done this one for a boy. I used a pair of my DH worn out levis for the coveralls. This was my grandmother's pattern.

    I would quilt it - for durability. And I would do transportation or just trucks for the boy quilt, Just MHO. :o)
