Default Quilt Photos from the Fair .....

Last week I worked at our Fair, and some of my quilts went along with me!

Sorry, but I regret not getting more pics of the other quilts in the competition. I was pretty busy working in the Dairy Education area, so little time to spend with the quilts!

I was pretty pleased, placing in all classes ... four 1sts, one 2nd and one 3rd.
Reminder a Red Ribbon in Canada is 1st place!
Here's some pics for you .........

A top and bottom shot of my Pony Club quilt, being that I could not get enough distance to get it all in in one photo. All the red ribbon winners compete for Grand, so that's why the fancy ribbon ... Grand Champion Machine Quilted Quilt. It will now go on to a District competition, with the Grand from each of 27 Fairs. (likewise a Grand Hand Quilted was chosen and will go to District)

This runner had been in the butter display at The EX, but I snagged it for competition here. I SO wanted to enter the Spike hexie, but there was no class. Good News though, Spike did get a 1st at the Fair a couple weeks before.

Fr♥sty might have a meltdown with his 2nd Red Ribbon! He got a blue in the other Fair, understandably as the class was more geared towards artsy and abstract, which he is only minimally so, and the winner definitely was.

Fr♥sty's Fence went to the top of the class in the Mini's. I really like the 2nd place one.

Thank You! ... I had fun doing him, as a Christmas gift last year.
So had to borrow him back.
Now have plans for a new and improved Fr♥sty for myself!
Hopefully to be done before our snow flies.

Congratulations! PC quilt really does look awesome. Every time I look at it I see something different and that's amazing since I saw all the blocks along the trail!
