Well we certainly have alively discussion going and it seems like skulls are not folks' favorite theme. Kids would probably think they're cool, but they don't appeal to me at all.

i may have to return to "lurk" mode for my opinion--but i would buy a fat quarter set, or yardage in a heartbeat if i saw this. of course, i have two studio artists in the family, and live in a huge arts center--but if this cutting edge (pun fully intended) stuff hit the streets at "crafty planet", a local young person oriented store, it would be gone in a day.
I'm with you - what a riot! The Knitmare on Elm Street looks like a kid from a Scooby Doo cartoon wandered into one of those Old Navy commercials with the mannequins. Hilarious!

This sort of fabric appeals to a specific sense of humor, which I have. Am I planning to buy? Nah - I can't think where I'd use it, honestly. But I laughed out loud looking at it and if I can dream up a reason I won't hesitate to buy.

Yeah. Giant poinsettias make me cringe, but I've seen the artists here turn some downright awful fabrics into something beautiful. To each her own - including us. :)

I'm not into skull anything, so wouldn't waste my money on them, but not a problem since there are soooooo many other gorgeous fabrics to spend my money on.

I think the Knitmare on Elm street is hilarious. I can't get interested in the skulls, scissors and knitting needles, though... I think the younger gen. might like them... I am 60- ish...
