As my children would have said when they were younger, "Mommy are you sure you are blaming the right one" I do see another little set of eyes in the background, don't I  :?:

That must have been one bad hairball! Hope it all comes out of your great quilt top!

Your cat actually looks like mine, only mine is red (almost orange) on her back and tail, and part of her face--she looks like she's wearing an upside-down heart right over her nose. And she's a brat too.

I solve the problem of these accidents by rarely finishing my sewing projects! (Hmmm, I really ought to finish something soon.)

That is a beautiful kitty...you can send her to me. Looks like the siamese would like to get rid of her anyway ;) I have two grey tabbies sleeping on quilt blocks right night. They had to fight over them first but seem to have settle it amicably. Funny thing is--the blocks are cat blocks! Guess they approve already.

Ha! I'm sure she didn't mean it as a criticism - perhaps she was trying her hand, I mean her PAW, at a little mixed fibre art.

Pretty quilt top BTW, a lady in one of my classes made a kaleidoscope quilt with that same fabric. :-D

The little QuiltCop brat that looks like a ragdoll is from our SPCA, so I don't know her history. Someone dropped her off in a box at the door when she barely had her eyes open. The staff had to bottle feed her. She was so tiny that they wouldn't let me adopt her until she was 12 weeks old. Look at her now!!! And the one sitting on the floor is my very bad siamese boy, Mao. I would immediately suspect him, but I could tell from the colour of the hair-ball (sorry if I offend anyone's sensibilities!) that it was little Miss Chyna. BTW, the stain came right out so it's all good.
Yes, I think you are right, We can’t help ourselves but match patterns and colors everywhere we look. Linda that is so great that you adopted your little brat! That is such a rewarding and good way to go. Chyna and Mao are very beautiful girls! How sad that someone left Chyna at the SPCA even though she wasn’t weaned. We raised a kitty like that, with no mama and his eyes still closed. The little brown terrier on the far left of that photo I posted thought she was his mama and took very good care of him.
LOL! So you could tell who the culprit was by playing guess whose hairball eh? Been there done that! Glad your stain came out! Whew!
