    That is going to be a really cool quilt! I always wondered what that block would look like repeated! I've always liked it, now I LOVE it!!! Great work, can't wait to see it completed!!

    I used a light weight interfacing. Cut the moon fabric in squares, drew the circle-(traced the lid) sewed on the lines, slit the interfacing and turned it right sides out and pressed it then top stitched it to the "sky".

    The mountains are flannel. I only have one of them stitched. I wanted to finish the moons first so I can plan which mountain goes with which moon. I don't want any matching.

    Off to buy more interfacing today so I can continue on. Glad you all like it! I'll keep you posted.

    Ruth- I couldn't get the link to open-darn it! I want to take a peek! :?

    I couldn't open the link either. But I like what you have so far and i love the flying geese border idea. But then again i'm all for flying geese borders on everything!
