    I just started this yesterday and I don't have anything stitched down yet except the moons onto the background. All the mountains are just laid out. I am planning on it being a wedding gift for my cousin-he grew up at Lake Tahoe. I will need to find a few more types fabric to make more moons. Planning on it just being a couch or picnic size. What do you think?

    It is "Moon Over the Mountain" from Quilters Cache website. They have it as a 12 inch block. I made mine 9 inch. Used a lid from my storage containers in the kitchen and a triangle template. I haven't decided if there will be strips in between the blocks or just stich them side by side.
    I am thinking about a flying geese border.
