These look VERY familiar! I have a few cross stitch books with pictures like these. You did a wonderful job on them. Take your time deciding how to quilt it. After all that you have put into it so far, you don't want to rush now.

i have a few cross stitch patterns in the works, including my nephews baby blanket I am doing for his baby shower....which was 10 years ago!! My sister still doesn't let me forget about it and if I let a project sit too long now, my husband says "oh, it's a "max baby blanket" project"!
Those are beautiful blocks and I love the way you have made them intoa quilt - what a wonderful idea! Gorgeous job :D

I think for quilting it I will go to women much more experienced than myself.
My daughter & SIL attend a mennonite church in OK when they are in the states (currently missionaries to the Philippines). I have gone to their quilting days and quilted with them. I might ask them if they would be willing to help me with this project. We could probably finish it in a couple days with so many there to help. Plus I always learn so much when I work with them.
Thank you for all of your kind comments. I have several framed cross stitch in my house and you can only have so many around and my girls only want so many. So, when I found this book and they started to pile up I thought quilt what else?
At Christmas I'll post pictures of our css stockings.

Can't add any more comments, it all has been said. There is soooo much work in your cross stitch and it is done beautifully. Then to put them into a quilt is just awsome. Keep us posted on how you will quilt it. The Mennonite ladies will probably give you the help you need. Post more pictures.
