Default Quilt Seeds, by Lori Holt

You may have seen these individual block patterns this season. There are 6 flower patterns and you design your own quilt layout. The blocks finish at 10 x 20. I made 2 of each pattern and came up with this simple layout using a layer cake a friend gifted me and a bunch of my low volume and green scraps etc. I have just one 10x10 left from the layer cake so I really stretched it to finish all 12 blocks. I have the backing and will be getting this ready for LA’er this week.

This is the type of quilt I like for my "girlie" room. I'd want to make a wider scalloped border though, mainly because I like the look of them on a feminine quilt. Going to look for the pattern!
