Just want to ask if you raw edge appliqued the flowers, painted, printed out then put fabric? It is beautiful so wanted to ask how you did it.

You guys are so sweet. If I didn't get enough positive reinforcement from the quild show, I sure did on this board. Thank you so much for all the sweet comments. I do love my quilts, and I love making them. I truely believe that this art is a gift from God. To be able to create and work with my hands is a blessing.

I need to give credit where credit is due. The spool quilt and the house quilt are Edyta Sitar from Laundry Basket quilts. I love her patterns. Of course the folklorico star quilt is Judy Niemeyer Glacier Star Quilt. I had to take a class to be able to complete this pattern. The dahlia quilt is a pattern in the Flower Show Quilts by Lynn Ann Majidimehr. Great patterns in this book. I will difinetly attempt more patterns from this book, The big maroon quilt is for my sister. It is my take on the " Generals Wives quilt. My brother in law retired from the Air Force as a Lt. Col. So this quilt is call the Lt. Col. wife's quilt. All the block have special meaning for my sister (kids, grandkids, home, friends). It was fun to research the pattern names for this quilt.

All the applique is raw edge. I love the process, but think the next time I will spend the extra time to do the freezer paper method of applique. I have already signed up for a class on Craftsy with Beth Ferrier.

Off to the sewing room for my next project.

Congrats on the ribbon. I love everyone of your quilts and wouldn't be able to pick out my favorite if someone asked me to.

I love all your quilts. Congratulations on your ribbons. I feel they all deserve ribbons. I especially love the house quilt with applique vines, birds and flowers. I like your fabric selection too. The folklorico quilt is awesome. It looks like it would be an extremely difficult quilt to execute but you did it! Congrats!!
