Our Quilt Guild is having its quilt show in November. 12 of us were asked to create a wallhanging about a section of the Old National Road (Route 40) that goes through our area in PA. I chose the toll house that was in West Alexander. The 12 pieces will all be hung side by side with the road being continuous throughout. It was my first landscape quilt and I discovered that I enjoyed it!

I will do my best. It's 18 feet long. We did 1 preliminary lay down of all of them together and it was fascinating.

I love your quilt. I was a part of a grouping like this. It is amazing when they are all lined up.

That is so awesome. I love your design. Love that church on the hill and the animals. Oh well, I love each and every feature as I discover them.

You did a beautiful job esp if that's your first landscape-just lovely. I'd like to see the whole display.

Could you post more info on when, where, etc. about your quilt show please. My 2 quilty friends and I are always up for a RoadTrip! Thanks.
