Don't you just love it when someone really appreciates your work and kindness?!! I made two crib quilts for twin baby girls for Christmas and never even a thank you from the mom, although the grandmother did share the mother's comments about them with me. I still think a phone call would have been nice. Glad your recipient took the time to write you such a nice thank you note!

Cute quilt but you have obviously made a change in this child's life & he will remember it for life !! How kind of you to do this & his thank you is "the best". Thank you for doing this - not just for the quilt but for the difference you have made for him.

Both sweethearts..the maker and receiver! Question for you. I am a new fmq'er. When you did the squares and stars did you start and stop after every little square? Do you bury your threads? Thanks for any tips..

What a great young man. The quilt is fantastic but the thank you note is amazing. I know what you mean about not getting a thank you for quilts made for family members. It hurts but this note makes up for the ones you didn't receive.
