I have found that a serger is the best way to go for flannel, coruroy and velvet. This takes care of fraying and slippage. You do have to hold either end of the block at the same time as you serge it.
We have a group that makes charity quilts for all over, where ever there is a need.
We take any and all donations. There were enough corduroy 10" blocks for 21 quilts but no one wanted to sew them. I serged them into 40x50 quilts without any problems.

Connie, take another day or two & you can sandwich & quilt this beautiful top. I know it will be a great comfort to her & flannel is so warm in winter time. I know you really love her & tell her she has great taste in fabrics.
