Has anyone done a shadow box using a jelly roll? I was thinking of sewing strips together. 2 or 3 - cut lenght to 10 inches than do a shadow. I have been searching the internet to see if anyone has done one using a jelly roll. So far I have not seen any.

Carolaug, I love the illusion both ways. On its side, it looks like blocks popping out of a dark ground, but when I turned my head sideways, the blocks appeared to have shadows. A+ for your optical art beauty! I love it!

Love your quilt it is awesome. I was just wondering what is the name of the pattern (sorry if this is a dumb question) it sort of looks like the BQ but not sure.
