Default Quilt top I just finished today!

I am making this quilt for a lady starting chemo for colon cancer. She loves butterflies so this is just right for her. I am calling it Bright Butterflies. The pattern is my own and it is a large throw. Out of ignorance I made so much extra work for myself by offsetting my 9 Patch blocks one square and going on point. Next time, I will make alternating 9 Patch blocks but I made the blocks before I came up with the pattern and didn't have enough fabric to make more. I am now VERY familiar with using partial seams in piecing but I loved the pattern design so much I decided it was worth it.
