This is just lovely. Kudos to both piecer and quilter. You did a great job complimenting the piecing. Which Superior thread product did you use? I find that as long as you adhere to their tension guidelines and needle sizes the thread is very nice. A couple of thier polyester threads (highlights and rainbows specifically) want almost no tension or else it keeps breaking. Please don't give up on Superior thread products, just follow their recommendations and I think you will find it is a very nice product. You may also want to try Isacord which is primarily marketed to machine embroiderers but makes a very nice LA thread. Another thread I like is Glide by Filtec (www.bobbincentral.com)

IT ARRIVED IN THE DELIVERY TODAY!!! I've showed everyone at work, and they all love it!
The pictures don't do the quilting justice. You should see the workmanship in person! I don't know how she did it.
