A dear young lady, friend of my ds and dil is undergoing chemo for a very rare form of cancer. I talked to her at a fund raiser and asked if she had a quilt, she didn't. She likes blues and greens. I did a variation of Bonnie Hunter's pattern, using 2 1/2" strips instead of scraps. Of course the strips don't match up- it wasn't meant to. But I was amazed to find I have 25 variations of blue and 26 of greens in my stash!

Next- a tote bag- I enlarged the 5-6-7 tote pattern I have. My good friend Sue loves the Beach ladies fabric so I made her a fun tote to take on her cruises she loves. Some neat batik sets it off neatly.

I love the fruit bottom ladies tote! That fabric always makes me smile. I also really like the quilt top! I have a friend going through chemo and I need to make her a throw. These are both super nice and very thoughtful :)

Our mail lady's mom had cancer and was going threw chemo. Our mail lady did not know I made quilts. But she keep telling me how cold her mom was when she got the chemo. When ever I ask how her mom was. I surprised our mail lady with a chemo quilt for her mom. Her mom passed about a year latter. But the mail lady told me how much her mom love that quilt and would take it with her where ever she went. Not just to chemo. Your love will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for making it for her.
