Default Quilt top for the Powwow

This is done using the stained glass windows in the chapel at work as the pattern. They depict the 7 sacred rights of the Lakota, along with the pipe and morning star.

I plan on adding a plain border (or two) to get to the finished size I want. I'll probably put a narrow black one and then finish it out with blue - I've got enough of both the light and dark blue fairy frost for that.

I've got to talk to some of my coworkers that are Lakota - and get ideas for quilting motifs to use on the border.

I had to hang it sideways - and rotated the pictures to show it the correct direction.

A beautiful work of art. Can you tell us what each block symbolizes?
