    I like your quilt tops. I am a fairly new quilter - I have made about 10 quilts in about as many years. I have been seeing a lot of the stack/kalidoscopes (sp) and would like to try one. Are they very difficult? I like easy, simple patterns but your yesteryear reminds me of shabby chic and I love that but am afraid that it might be a bit of a challenge for me.

    I think the best way to find out if you like doing stacks is to look at Bethany Reynold's first book, called "Magic Stack n Whack." Some people, and I'm obviously one of them, love the stacks and I know some people really dislike both doing them and looking at them :) So many different types of quilts, which is a great thing!
