Quilt Tops - a few more !
#62
I will be keeping quite a few and will quilt them myself in time. There are 3-4 which I will get professionally quilted and then they will be donated to a charity. The others that I don't think I will quilt will be sold or given to an organisation who will quilt them and then donate them.
Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. I love foundation piecing and the majority of the scrap quilts are done this way. Many of the quilts are hand pieced. A few of the quilts I have experimented with the pattern (which I have drawn up from a pic I saw online) to decide whether or not I wanted to make a bigger quilt.
I am an avid foundation piecer and I do most of the piecing of the blocks at our fishing cabin. They then come home so I can join them together into quilt tops. Alas, this doesn't always happen as quickly as I would like so I am now going through the tubs of 'pieced blocks' and joining them into quilt tops - adding to the already huge pile waiting to be quilted.
I am lucky enough to sew 8-10 hours a day, 7 days a week if I wish to as I am retired, no grandchildren and a very supportive (and patient) husband. Quilting is my passion, especially working with fabric scraps and selvedges to create quilts.

WOW! Those are goprgeous. You do nice work. Please have a great trip to Europe. Take it all in! OMG I'll never forget mine. Then when you come home and make your decisions, give me a call. I would love to be on the receiving end of any of your beauties!
