to KarenM36 - to answer your question, it took me a month of nearly constant hand quilting. Oh, my fingers were sore for a weekafter I finished, but I was really pleased with the results. Good luck hand quilting your queen size quilt. When you finish it and you look at your work you will be very pleased I'm sure with what you accomplished. Happy quilting!

ONLY a month?! Oh my you're fast! I thought I'd be doing really well to get mine done in 6 months! The quilt I'm doing is my avatar. So far I'm doing SID around all the large 9 patch blocks and the corner posts. In the white blocks I'm doing a motif. Then I'm doing something in all the dark lavender strips in the sashing and then also the wide border of the quilt. But as I'm doing this...it seems that it needs more...like something in all of the floral squares like a simple X. It keeps growing...and I realize it's going to take a very long time! lol!

Thanks though for letting me know how long it took because even if I don't do it in a month...at least I know that something that size doesn't have to take forever...and as I'm starting out on this quilt that's what it feels like right now! ;-)

They are all really nice. I especially like the simplistic beauty of the last one.
