    Here is a picture of the clip on hook. I got mine at Walmart but I think they are fairly common.

    I also hang a curtain rod on my sewing room (well, actually the dining room) and use it to hang a black fleece fabric...my design wall.

    I am doing a Mystery Block of the month this year, all will be 16 inch squares so I am planning on making a quilt for my french doors in my sewing room. Thanks to all for the great hints in this thread!
