    I love it too... it's really beautiful! Love all those fabrics. Not many WWII vets left, so treasure your Dad and thank him for our freedom!

    How wonderful for you and your father. The WWIIs I have encountered seem so appreciative of these quilts. One who wrote to thank me, said that the quilt means more to him than all of the other decorations/ribbons/citation he received following the war. He was part of the Flying Eagles and was a gunner who sat in the cubical and shot at the enemy. He is in his 90s. -- The QOV I made for my 92 year old uncle was his treasure. He showed to everyone. The local paper did a story on him. My cousin said it arrived just in time as UBud was having a depressing time and the quilt cheered him and gave him something to talk about to others at the home.

    Each and every one of our servicemen and women deserve a Quilt of Valor as beautiful as yours is. I am sure your Dad is proud as punch of you and of his quilt.
