Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful family w/the Quilting Board and this beautiful quilt. You are certainly a special sister and sil. And your dear mother, . . . . what can we say. She and dad would be so proud of you to honor your brother with this beautiful tribute for his service. We are all humbled by your service.
I, too, have been involved with Quilts of Valor for seven years. And I know this is the most meaningful volunteer work I have ever done. I recently received a thank you from the medical staff in Afghanistan saying that the QOV I had made for the recipient was draped over him when he received his Purple Heart. This message really touched my heart. I had not thought of the Purple Heart thing at all. Rarely do we know the name of the recipient and receiving such a thank you makes on realize the valuable mission of QOVs.

Tears spill over as I look at this beautiful quilt you have made for your brother. I can only imagine the family's reaction to your gift..please share it with us after you present it to him. Thanks to your family for their sacrifices.

This is very beautiful and so emotional. What a wonderful gift of love you are giving. Your pattern is perfect and your pictures are so very clear. Please, a pic of you giving this quilt is wanted by all of us!!
