    Default Quilt of Valor

It's been a while since I tried to post a photo, so let's see if this works.
This is the second Quilt of Valor I've made using this pattern. A lady in our guild quilts them for our state organization. I am trying to make one a month.

Very nice! I need to make another one soon. How did you get that ripply looking edge on each red and white stripe? Or is it my phone?

I see the tiny ripples also toogie...maybe each line is off set the tiniest bit?

I thought maybe they were log cabin blocks but I can't zoom in to see...

I zoomed into about a magnification of 400% and can see that these are half square triangles, but the edges appear a shade darker on the red stripes. Sounds silly, but is this possibly red ricrack along the edges?

I assumed it was the pixels on the device she used to take the photo? Regardless it is a lovely quilt for a Veteran and I know he/she will love it.

The ripple edges are due to either crappy photography or my old computer or both.
The stripes are made using half-square triangles. AND the edges are straight.
    Your comments made me laugh!

What a nice simple pattern that pack a nice punch! I see why you have used it more than once. I sure would. I saw the ripple edge too but.....in the end a lovely piece of work.
