I think it turned out rather well, and I hope the veteran who gets it likes it. Does anyone know if a vet gets to select his/her quilt or is that decision made by someone else?

    I just love it!

    It came out beautifully.

I am in a QOV group and generally, the vet does not get to choose their quilt. Sometimes, a member of the QOV group can pick one out for a particular vet (if they know one they want to give it to), but the recipient cannot choose. The quilts are made, labeled, and presented by the QOV group.

Okay, thanks. I was just curious. I sort of think my quilts end up being non-traditional and they might not be for everyone... I am just gong to assume that whoever ends up with it likes it.

Beautiful. Also Thank you! Our local chapter selects the veterans who receive a quilt. But the quilts are handed out at random. But if there is a quilt with say , Snoopy in a airplane it will go to a Air Force vet.Thought will be give to things like that, or if there is a female vet and someone has made a quilt more suited for a lady.I have not ask my friends if you make a quilt and want a certain vet to receive it, if that request is honored. Hope this answered your question. But thank you again, and everyone else who take their time this for wonderful project.
