I love how you put the pop of color along the top edges and handles! You are so creative. The bag was a great project to make to admire your lovely quilting designs. In your "blueprint" class, did you quilt over drawn quilting designs?

You don't mark the top first.
I quilted it on my Handi Quilter long arm
The finished piece measured about 32" X 19", the bag is about 13" tall, 6" deep and 12" wide.
The print fabric at the top & handles is the backing fabric I brought to the front to bind, no lining. Just folded the piece in half, sewed the sides, boxed the bottom & added the handles.
