    I tried some day and have just one or two ideas to make this easier.

    I did a full 8.5 X 11 sheet of little blocks and then AFTER sewing the decorative stitching I cut them into four smaller pieces. Much tidier, less trimming and much faster. Do your stay stitching after you cut the four pieces.

    And my other tip is to slip the peeled off backing pieces of the heat and bond under the corner pieces that hang out over. Protects the ironing board!
