    Default Quilted Christmas Stocking

One of my sisters suggested that I make my godson a stocking for his Christmas gift. That idea evolved into making my "secret santa" (a different sister) a stocking to put her gift in. An couple of hours later and this is what I came up with. Naomi, the recipient, is big into fashion and bright colors. A freehand attempt on freezer paper served as my template for the boot. The front is pieced from a batik charm pack I found on amazon. This is the first project I have quilted free motion (I had one quilt that I did with a FMQ foot but had drawn on the pattern and followed the lines). Long story short, this is what I came up with!

I LOVE it too!! It is so cute & I love all of the Batik fabrics you used in making it too. Lucky sister, that's for sure.
