I have some of that same fabric! I used it to make my hubby a neck strap for his camera, and a bean bag to rest his camera on for still shots that are too short for a tripod. It's adorable! I'm sure your traveling friend will adore it.

Since many times, when I traveled for work, I was hesitant about the covers in hotels, I liked to take my own and its matching pillow case. It made hotel rooms more "homey" too.
