I bought the kit almost 2 years ago at the Quilt Expo and was determined to make it - thus not waste the $ invested. The pattern was kind of difficult for me to follow - making it a pain, but all in all I'm pleased with the results.
I used a single layer of flannel as 'batting' on the front & back. No flannel in the sleeves. Fully lined - and added an inside pocket. =) The back is the same color as the sleeves - both are quilted with a diamond grid about 3" apart - echos the design on the front.
I ever make this again - it will be a vest. =)
FYI - pattern info/designer here. http://www.jenniferamor.com/shop/Jac...et-x662246.htm
She offers it in several colors - I picked the blues/teals. The purple one is beautiful, too.
This is #2 project on my 2020 list of things i want to work on this year. WahoO! Feel like I'm on a roll!!
Enjoy!
